Playstation Move Bundles

The aim of this hub is to give a brief overview of the Playstation Move and to inform of the potential money savings that can be achieved when buying a Playstation Move bundle. There are a few Playstation Move Bundles currently on the market, but first let's talk about the Playstation Move itself.

The Playstation Move is Sony's newest foray into the motion control gaming scene. While the Dualshock 3 PS3 Controller featured some motion sensors, the new Playstation Move that is set to be released in September 2010 is something that has not yet been seen in a video game console.

The Playstation Move features motion tracking that is nearly one-to-one of the player. The advanced gyroscopes, magnetometers, and the tracking used with the Playstation Eye make for unprecedented and extremely precise motion controlling. While many have compared the basic idea and execution (not unfairly) to the Nintendo Wii, the technology presented in the Playstation Move will allow for many new gaming experiences that the Wii will be unable to do. Combine that with the PS3's HD and 3D capabilities, and you have quite a unique and powerful system.

There are two basic Playstation Move bundles, and they will likely be a great deal to many PS3 owners who do not currently own a Playstation Eye. If you already have a PS3, the Playstation Move bundle you are you are likely to buy is called the "Playstation Move Starter Bundle" and comes with the Move Controller, the Playstation Eye, and the Sports Champions game. Sony has opted to bundle a sports game with their controller, similarly to Wii Sports which was a smashing success for Nintendo. It has already been reviewed as an extremely fun game for groups or solo, and carries with it a new level of realism and precision than found in Nintendo's Wii.

If you do not yet own a PS3 or you are in the market to upgrade your PS3, now is a great time to upgrade to the new "slim" model that has more memory, is quieter, and is smaler. The new 250 and 320 gig PS3 bundles will provide you with plenty of space for all your gaming and movie needs for many years, and getting it bundled with the Move is a great idea for the upcoming holiday season.
